Impressive first up win from the James Cummings trained gelding after trialling well leading in, showed very good early speed to find the front and set the tempo throughout before getting asked to sprint at the 300m putting a gap on the field before getting eased down late, just loved the way he was able to sprint late off a solid tempo.

WHERE TO NEXT: the gelding will take considerable improvement off the performance on Saturday so look for him to step up to midweek metropolitan racing and be very hard to beat over 1000m-1200m second up.
